Swing Trade Alerts Service
At Stock Market Guides, we offer a swing trade service where an alert is sent for each new pick we make. We use historical statistics to help you buy low and sell high in the stock market using swing trades.
Our service only features swing trading opportunities that have a quantitative backtested edge. We don’t shoot from the hip with trade ideas here. We rely exclusively on the data.
This ensures that if you get a swing trade alert, it’s because there is a trade opportunity that has a track record of success in backtests. We cater to both stocks and options here, so you can get alerts for whichever you prefer.
At Stock Market Guides, we give you access to plenty of data to help you decide which swing trading opportunities you want alerts for. We show things like the historical backtested win percentage and profitability for each featured trading strategy.
Swing Trading Alerts
Here’s an example of what one of our swing trade alerts looks like.

(sample trade alert)
You can see that our swing trade alert reflects a specific trading strategy and time frame. It also shows how that strategy has performed historically according to backtests, both in terms of wins, losses, and return on investment.
We feel that if we’re going to try to offer the best swing trade alerts possible, they need to be easy to follow, have a track record of success, and be transparent. Our alerts are intended to reflect those qualities.

Swing trading in the stock market involves risk, even when trade setups have a strong history of profitability. You can dial your risk down or up by adjusting your position sizing or the number of trades you take.
The more risk that’s taken, the higher the potential for drawdowns. You can also start out by paper trading stocks to get a feel for the trades before putting real money at risk.

Swing Trade Alerts That Are Easy to Follow

Trade alerts for our Pre-Market Swing Picks are sent by email before the market opens. Trade alerts for our Market Hours Swing Picks are sent in real time by either text or email, depending on your preference.
Rather than spending a lot of time each day in front of a computer screen doing research on which swing trades to make, you can get these trade alerts and can spend just minutes per day making your trades.
We only send alerts for buying stocks or call options, not shorting them. Of all the research we’ve done, we’ve never found a long-term mechanical edge to shorting stocks or buying puts.
If the alert is for an option swing trade, it will indicate a ticker, strike price, and expiration date so that you know the exact option to consider.
Alerts for Many Types of Swing Trades
At Stock Market Guides, we offer a wide variety of swing trading opportunities that you can consider. Here are some examples of different types of trades that you can get alerts for:
Trade Type
- You can get trade alerts for everything from pullback trades to earnings trades.
Share or Contract Cost
- You can filter trade alerts by the price of the stock or option.
You can control the volume of how many swing trade alerts you get and when you get them. You can limit yourself to just a couple per week or you can turn the dial up and get alerts for everything we find. Swing trade opportunities will fluctuate each day based on market conditions.
The stocks and options we feature are typically for companies that have significant market capitalizations, which means they are normally for major, well-established companies.
Swing Trade Duration
Some swing traders might like to hold their positions for just a few days, while others might like to hold them for a few months. Some are in between. Our service accommodates them all. You can choose to get alerts for any of these swing trade durations.
Learn Swing Trading
Swing trading is where you make trades that last more than one day but are not long term holds. It’s in between day trading and long-term investing. If you are swing trading, you might own a given stock or option for a matter of days or weeks, not years.
If you don’t know exactly how to buy and sell in the stock market, you can use our free stock guides or options guides to learn the basics.
Once you sign up for the service, you’ll also find tutorials that teach our swing trading strategies in detail so that you can learn to trade them on your own if you want.
Our goal is to make sure you will have the tools to be able to successfully follow our swing trade alerts no matter what your trading expertise level is. And if questions come up along the way, you can contact us any time and we’ll be ready to help.
